Day 1 : Marrakech
On arrival you will be welcomed by our team that will take you to your accommodation where dinner will be served.
Day 2 : Marrakech - Ouled Driss
You join the Mhamid region by the super highway spanning the High Atlas via the Tizi Tichka mountain pass, the highest in the Maghreb (2250m) and then descend into the Draa Valley to the desert. Night at Ouled Driss camping (a few kilometers from Mhamid).
Day 3 : Ouled Driss - Krayaat Jmal
At the beginning of Ouled Driss, in the depths of the Draa Valley, along the Sahara, you first cross a vast desert plateau. Then join the dunes of Krayaat Jmal where you will bivouac. Sunset before spending your first night in the desert.
Day 4 : Krayaat Jmal - erg Khnata
Your camel caravan advances slowly. You cross the Hamada lined with tamarisk that disappear on wadi Naam, amid the dunes. In the afternoon, restart walking in the dunes of Erg Khnata up. You will be in time to watch the sunset. Second night in the desert.
Day 5 : Erg Khnata - oasis d'Ouled Driss
You give up the erg Khnata to cross the Hamada of Draa and its reg, dotted with volcanic flint. Return late afternoon in Ouled Driss.
Day 6 : Ouled Driss - Marrakech
On the way back, stop in Tamegroute, shortly before Zagora. Tamegroute was a spiritual center (Zaouia) and a well known Islamic University, whose library contains medieval manuscripts. There are also pottery workshops green lacquer, unique to Morocco. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 7 : Transfer to the airport and assistance until departure.
