Morocco is known for many things such as the towering Atlas Mountains, the Sahara desert or the souks of Marrakech, the Arab / Berber culture.
Less known is the Atlantic coast. Our one-week trip follows the coastal path to the peaceful town of Essaouira. On the way we pass isolated fishing villages, argan orchards, deserted sandy beaches, rocky cliffs. We constantly have splendid views of the Atlantic Ocean, accompanied by the roar of the waves.
The trip is led by one of our experienced local guides, assisted by staff for the bivouac and cooking, and a caravan of camels to carry the luggage.
Day 1 : Marrakech
Welcome by our team upon arrival at the airport and transfer to your accommodation where dinner will be served.
Day 2 : Marrakech - Tafedna
Transfer by minibus, coach or Land Rover to Tafdna through Chichaoua and Ounara. Stop for lunch. We continue through the Haha area, the capital of the argan tree and then arrival to Tafdna fishing port where we meet with our camel drivers. "Test Day" in order to apply certain rules. Evening bivouac on the sandy beach.
Day 3 : Tafedna - Sidi Ahmed Saih
The loaded caravan sets out again, passing above the cap Tafelny by the plateau and then down to the beach of Sidi Ahmed Saih where we plant our tents for the night.
Day 4 : Sidi Ahmed Saih - Sidi Mbarek
Our road follows the coast, either along the beach or across the plain from the top depending on the wind. Basement at Sidi Mbarek Marabout.
Day 5 : Sidi Mbarek - Sidi Kaouki
Three linked beaches lead us to Sidi Kaouki, a fishing port and meeting place for windsurfers. Basement on the beach.
Day 6 : Sidi Kaouki - Essaouira
Start the day by crossing the village of Sidi Kaouki fishermen and sea caves of Cape Sim. After passing the Cape Sim, Essaouira appears in the distance. We arrive there in the afternoon for a well deserved rest. Night in Essaouira.
Day 7 :Free day in Essaouira.
Take this opportunity to stroll through the charming Medina, explore the ramparts, discover the galleries of the artists or survey the fishing port.
Day 8 : Marrakech
Back in Marrakech. Depending on the flight schedule, you may have time to visit the legendary Jamaa El Fna square. Transfer to the airport and assistance until departure.
